in 2019 i was making a lot of new friends and meeting a lot of new people. when aithne and i met, there was immediate connection and lots of sparks. and yea we met up at a restaurant that... if i remember correctly, was run by a cult? anyway, life gets in the way of life, as it often does, and she lives somewhere else now. this song is about tempering burning passion into something more solid. the passion hardens so the weld can hold strong. or uh, something like that. :^) X
